The Gordon Center for Creative and Performing Arts at Colby College is a new two-story, 74,000 sf teaching and performance center designed to foster collaboration between its Music, Theater, and Dance departments. Vanderweil provided MEP/FP engineering services for this new facility, which includes a theater, rehearsal areas, and gather spaces. The main mechanical system is an overhead VAV, and the facility also includes a water-cooled chiller plant. The project is pursuing LEED Gold and SITES Silver.
