Overview
Patrick is Vanderweil’s Director of Sustainable Design and an HVAC engineer who is experienced in design, construction administration, and project management. As the leader of Vanderweil’s Building Performance Group, Patrick seeks to reduce buildings’ environmental impact using tools such as energy modeling, solar analysis, computational fluid dynamics and life cycle cost analysis. Patrick’s expertise includes high-performance building strategies such as zero net energy, all-electric building operation, fossil fuel-free campus master-planning and conversion, Passive Building, Living Building Challenge, WELL, and LEED Platinum®.
