Workhuman’s new North American headquarters, located at 100 Staples Drive in Framingham, MA, transforms a previously dormant building into a vibrant workspace that fosters innovation, inclusivity, and well-being. The 157,000 sf facility reflects Workhuman’s mission of enhancing employee recognition, collaboration, and performance through thoughtful design and programming.

The headquarters spans three floors and includes a variety of workspaces designed to accommodate different working styles, including open office areas, quiet zones, and flexible collaboration spaces. Key amenities include a Wellbeing Center with a gym, a café, biophilic design elements such as over 500 plants, and the signature Gratitude Tree. Dedicated spaces for employee mindfulness and personal rejuvenation further emphasize the company’s focus on well-being.

Vanderweil provided MEP/FP engineering services, which included replacing rooftop AHUs and boilers. The office also features state-of-the-art infrastructure systems to support the diverse needs of the facility, including the conference rooms, fitness spaces, and specialized work areas.

The project prioritizes sustainability, with over 70% of the materials used in the furniture and fixtures made from recycled content. The design incorporates all-gender restrooms and ADA-accessible doors, aligning with the company’s commitment to inclusivity and environmental responsibility.
