Supported by a $17.87 million National Science Foundation grant, this advanced fabrication facility was developed to accelerate silicon carbide (SiC) research and help re-establish U.S. leadership in semiconductor manufacturing.

Vanderweil Engineers provided MEP/FP engineering and sustainable design services for the proposed MUSiC Lab, a decentralized national resource aimed at closing critical instrumentation and knowledge gaps in silicon carbide (SiC) research. The lab is envisioned to unify and elevate U.S. research capabilities, enabling advancements in SiC materials, devices, circuits, and applications, and ultimately strengthening U.S. leadership in semiconductor fabrication.
