The Sycuan Casino & Hotel is a 12-story luxury hotel tower comprised of 302 rooms and 57 suites. With a project cost totaling $226 million, components of the project include the addition of 60,000 sf of gaming space, making this the largest non-smoking gaming floor in San Diego, 42,000 sf of meeting and convention space, and a 1,200-seat entertainment venue.

Additional amenities include ten new bars and restaurants, a full-service spa and sauna, and an expansive pool and cabana area with an adults-only pool and swim-up bar, a family pool, a lazy river, and a poolside bar and grille.

For this landmark project, Vanderweil served as MEP/FP engineer to create environments that promote high standards of guest safety and comfort as well as energy efficiency. We also provided technology and security design services.
