The Moxy Hotel in Boston’s Theater District provides travelers with a boutique guest experience with 340 ultra-modern rooms. The 24-story, 143,000 sf facility was built from the ground-up with sustainability in mind, achieving LEED Silver and aligning with Boston’s Stretch Energy Code.
In addition to the guest rooms, the hotel features a full-service kitchen and dining spaces plus a rooftop bar / lounge area. Additional on-site amenities include a fitness center, meeting rooms, and an on-site laundry facility. The glass façade is embedded with a two-story electronic billboard wrapped around its cantilevered corner at Tremont and Stuart.
Vanderweil provided MEP/FP engineering services as well as sustainability consulting and technology design. The coordination of these efforts along with those of our design partners allowed the team to bring this first-of-its-kind hotel to Boston.
