Laurel Ridge Community College’s Hazel Hall is a new, two-story, 40,000 sf academic STEM building incorporating state-of-the-art, multipurpose technology classrooms and laboratories for science, engineering, and health professions students. Vanderweil provided MEP/FP engineering and security design services for the new academic instruction building.

The first floor features a multipurpose assembly space, offering a flexible use meeting facility to further enhance partnership opportunities between Laurel Ridge Community College and the Fauquier community. In addition, the first floor includes engineering labs, computer labs, and a maker/fabrication lab.

The second floor incorporates student study spaces and laboratories for nursing skills, operating simulation room, dissection, chemistry, biology, and other general sciences.
