MEP/FP engineering services to renovate the 10,500 sf poker room and promotions area into a new restaurant, lounge, bar, and tasting area to the existing casino.
Vanderweil’s responsibilities included designing a new HVAC system to serve the reconfigured space along with its interconnection with the facility’s building management systems. The existing single-zone variable volume zoned system and the new space were designed with spiral ductwork throughout for the new exposed look of the venue.
The electrical engineering involved new power and distribution, life safety, and lighting.
Plumbing work mainly focused on tying the kitchen and bars into the domestic water, drainage, and gas distribution systems.
Fire protection design included new head and piping layouts to coordinate with the new exposed ductwork utilized in the restaurant.
