Vanderweil provided MEP/FP engineering for the renovation of Entegris’ 80,000 sf research and manufacturing facility. Lab spaces include specialized areas for filtration media, electrostatic clamps, and proprietary advanced low-temperature coatings.

Office and conference facilities are provided for employees and are equipped with state-of-the-art video conferencing equipment allowing collaboration with Entegris’ other globally located offices and facilities.

Mechanical requirements for this facility include cooling towers, chiller plant, multiple AHUs and exhaust fans, boiler plant, and dedicated exhaust for hazardous (H-3) areas. Electrical requirements include new transformers for an upgraded electrical service, generator, and new power distribution throughout the entire facility.

Plumbing includes a new semiconductor-grade DI system, producing 15,000 gallons per day, pH neutralization, and surge tank. Entegris’ specialty coating division use individual cases including silane, ammonia, acetylene, hydrate, helium, argon, and nitrogen. A new fire protection system is distributed through the facility with special foam suppression systems in high hazard areas.
