The Louisiana Cancer Research Consortium building is a scientific research facility for both Tulane University and Louisiana State University.  The project includes flexible laboratory research space, a vivarium and associated office space for researchers.  Laboratory space on each floor is designed to accommodate large and small research groups.  Interior spaces are reserved for cold rooms, refrigerators, freezers and dedicated equipment.

The 166,000 sf building is six floors of research and offices above a four-story parking structure.  Utility service for steam and chilled water is via a connecting walkway to a local steam and chilled water plant.  HVAC system utilizes interconnecting floor by floor air handling units with rooftop exhaust fans.  Vivarium MEP system includes redundancy and emergency power capability.
