Our dear friend and beloved colleague, Mike Walsh, PE, LEED AP, tragically passed away on June 3. Mike was greatly loved and respected, and this is an unspeakable loss for his family and our Vanderweil family. Mike joined Vanderweil as an HVAC engineer in 1987, and for the past few years served as the firm’s Chief Engineer. He had exceptional talent and was a nationally recognized expert in the Science and Technology field. Throughout his tenure with us, Mike worked on some of our largest and most complex laboratory projects. Mike was extremely passionate about engineering, loved helping and mentoring our younger engineers, and was a role model for many. He was often requested by our clients to support projects, and embraced every engineering challenge presented. We are proud to have called Mike our friend and colleague. |
