Overview

Vanderweil is proud of our long history and successes with the design of high performance green buildings. With over 90 LEED Accredited Professionals with various specialties and over 12 million SF of LEED certified projects, we bring a wealth of experience and creative thinking to all phases of building design, construction, and operations, and have fully integrated processes for green innovation and continuous improvement across all disciplines.

Our Building Performance Group is a dedicated group with two primary purposes:

To improve the performance of existing buildings
To inform the design of new buildings and renovations with active benchmarking practices.

We believe that the design community is uniquely positioned to shape the future of building design, construction, and operation. Architects and engineers are instrumental in defining functional needs and performance goals not only when a building is newly constructed, but over time as use of the building evolves. Like every new project we encounter, an existing building presents many opportunities to reassess conventional wisdom and collaborate to affect change and improve performance.
