Aquatic Life Support Systems GroupVanderweil’s Aquatic Life Support Systems Group has more than 25 years of experience in the design of freshwater and seawater exhibits for aquariums, zoos, and marine research around the United States and the world. Our state-of-the-art designs include:
Additionally, Vanderweil provides treatment of the effluent to comply with the local codes and to provide biological safety, i.e. prevent introduction of the foreign species. Vanderweil’s Aquatic Life Support Systems Group focuses on providing innovative technical solutions that improve system performance and save our clients’ money. We work hands-on with LSS operators to develop techniques that reduce capital and operational costs, while improving water quality to create an environmentally safe animal habitat. Prior to advancing with design, we carefully consider all current technologies and, most importantly, the goals and ideas of our clients. We understand the needs of marine researchers and work with them to identify different water types that will enable them to conduct research under multiple variable conditions and provide several water rings—dual or single—of ambient temperature sea water, chilled sea water, conditioned and raw sea water, fresh filtered water, hot filtered fresh water, or any other combinations necessary to conduct studies of oceans and their inhabitants. |
