Vanderweil and Rust Orling will bring expertise in this field and personal project experience to our presentation. We will give examples of Designing for Dignity strategies from LEED, SITES, and WELL used in the design and construction of an assisted living facility our firms collaborated on.

  • Leverage LEED, SITES, and WELL in the early stages of designing the project with key stakeholders to serve vulnerable populations.
  • Incorporate designing for dignity into the integrative process.
  • Consider design strategies that help promote occupant and community dignity by implementing human health and wellness credits of LEED, SITES, and WELL.
  • Understand implementation of designing for dignity, with examples from an assisted living facility.
